Public Health England (PHE) has launched its first mental health campaign, Every Mind Matters, as a regional pilot in the West and East Midlands.
The campaign aims to improve public understanding of mental health and places looking after mental health on a par with taking care of physical health.
The campaign encourages adults to be more aware of their own mental health and that of others by providing them with information and resources for eight of the most commonly reported issues; stress, anxiety, trouble sleeping, low mood, panic, social anxiety, trauma and obsessions and compulsions.
A free guide is now available on the PHE One You Website. It offers expert-led introductions on the most common mental health problems and ‘how-to’ exercises to improve mental wellbeing.
